I have been exploring for a bit for any high quality articles or blog posts on this kind of area . Exploring in Yahoo I at last stumbled upon this site. Reading this info So i’m happy to convey that I've an incredibly good uncanny feeling I discovered exactly what I needed. I most certainly will make certain to do not forget this website and give it a glance regularly.

Have any of you ever worked in a school, particularly rural or urban? Focusing on the funding is only part of the equation. Educational philosophy (and common sense) tells us that schools are based on a bureaucratic system - think about Henry Ford and the factory model. Our world does not function this way anymore. Funding does come into play when you think about revamping the whole system; when you think about how little teachers get paid compared to other managers or peers in their area of specialty (say nothing of the fact that they are responsible for the growth of children); when you think about the infrastructure of older schools (did you know that computer labs have air conditioning but most public school classrooms do not?).
For more information you can check out/Google as a small sample of the information that is out there: Jonathan Kozol; WBEZChicago - Chicago Matters - Schools for a series on public education; New York Schools - classroom size; ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) which is a database for educational research and information.
